Automation Technician
Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, the 2nd Shift Automation Technician is responsible for Automation and Electrical for Production Equipment and Machinery. This position also requires Mechanical Experience and support to all Maintenance members and Manufacturing.

Education And Experience
- High School Graduate/GED with Electrical/Automation related College degree/certification.
- Minimum 5 years’ Experience in Maintenance Manufacturing Environment.
- Minimum 5 years’ Experience with Manufacturing Automation, PLC’s HMI’s etc.
- Excellent trouble-shooting and math skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow safety information, operating instructions, blueprints, schematics and drawings, and procedure manuals.
- Good computer, written and verbal skills.

- Forklift driving capabilities.
- Excellent trouble-shooting and math skills.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting Electrical, PLC and other Industrial Automation IN A Manufacturing Environment.
- Design, install, Program and commission small size Automation control systems. Support required for larger Automation Projects.
- Train and support Maintenance team members on an ongoing bases on the understanding of Automation and troubleshooting.
- PM of all Electrical and Automation Equipment.
- Hands on support to Maintenance Technicians with troubleshooting Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Equipment.
- Maintaining all PLC Program files and documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
